Property Tax and Valuation Attorneys Discuss Walgreen v. West Hartford Decision at the Connecticut Chapter of the Appraisal Institute

The attorneys of Pullman & Comley's Property Tax and Valuation Department reviewed Walgreen Eastern Company, Inc. v. Town of West Hartford, a decision which has important implications for appraisals prepared in connection with property tax appeals, at the November 13 meeting of the Connecticut Chapter of the Appraisal Institute.  They provided additional information about the valuation evidence presented and the trial proceedings themselves based on first hand involvement. The decision was then reviewed with a particular focus on the guidance it provides to appraisers. Finally, time was reserved for questions and comments from the audience.
