Attorney Jean Perry Phillips Discusses Strategies for Relaunching Your Legal Career After a Break

Many attorneys often take time off from their legal careers to raise children, care for aging parents, deal with personal or family illness or to pursue another career or endeavor. Returning to the legal profession can be challenging!

The Connecticut Bar Institute hosted an insightful “Back to Practice: Relaunching Your Career After a Break” seminar where strategies and perspectives were discussed to get your career back on track.

Jean Perry Philips, an attorney in Pullman & Comley’s Environmental, Real Estate and Land Use practices and co-chair of the firm’s Women’s Leadership Initiative, spoke along with Kimberly Burkhart of Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, Cathryn Reynolds of Reid and Riege and Carroll Welch of Carroll Welch Consulting.

The seminar covered:

  • Professional relaunch resources and strategies
  • Instructive insights from attorneys who have successfully relaunched their careers
  • Information that will help you achieve clarity about your relaunch goals and options
