Making Sense of Property Taxes in Connecticut

Connecticut property owners and businesses pay some of the highest real and personal property taxes in the nation.  It is no wonder property tax reform and assessment practices are a constant topic of conversation in the legislature, at local levels and amongst tax and accounting professionals practicing in Connecticut.  Attorneys Laura Cardillo, Greg Servodidio, Elliott Pollack and Michael Marafito of Pullman & Comley's Property Tax and Valuation practice will provide an overview and discussion of the assessment process, challenging real and personal property values in excess of market values, personal property audits, and recent legislative developments and court decisions impacting established assessment practices.
