Attorney Robert Hinton of Pullman & Comley's Labor and Employment practice addressed employment situations that involve the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and the Worker's Compensation Act at the 2017 Connecticut Conference of Municipalities Annual Convention. Navigating the interaction and overlap between these three laws can be treacherous, and a municipality's obligations can at times be difficult to discern and confusing. Attendees learned how to analyze situations that implicate ADA, FMLA, and Workers Compensation laws and regulations, and how they impact a municipality's policies and procedures.
