"What I appreciated most about my summer experience was the emphasis on an 'open door policy.'  Whether engaging a first-year associate or a partner, I always felt comfortable stopping to ask questions or discuss my work.  Later, as one of the mentors for the summer associates, I enjoyed helping summer associates develop their professional skills in a meaningful way.  Whether that meant assisting with legal research and writing skills, or providing insight into what it takes to be an attorney beyond what is written in books, providing guidance to younger attorneys has been one of the most enjoyable aspects of my job."
