Randall C. Mathieson is a member of Pullman & Comley's Corporate and Business practice.

Rand's practice includes corporate and securities law, contracts, franchising, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, commercial financing, private equity, venture capital and regulatory compliance.   He has 35 years of legal experience, both in private practice and on the corporate side at several companies in the Northeast.  He joined Pullman & Comley from Fantastic Sams International, a franchise company with more than 1300 locations worldwide, where he served as senior vice president and general counsel.  Prior to that, he was in private practice in New Haven, Connecticut.  Earlier in his career he served as chief operating officer of Cardiopulmonary Corporation, a high-tech medical device company with worldwide distribution, and as general counsel of Carvel Corporation, the international ice cream company.  In addition to his legal experience, Rand has considerable financial and operations experience, including transaction negotiation and structuring, due diligence reviews, strategic planning, quality systems, debt and equity syndication, fraud investigations, business valuations and investor relations.  He has been designated an "Accredited Valuation Analyst" by the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts.
