Jennifer N. Willcox practices in Pullman & Comley’s Health Care Department. Jennifer’s practice encompasses a wide range of health care issues, including transactions; reimbursement; Stark, fraud and abuse; internal investigations; Certificate of Need advice and proceedings; regulatory compliance; HIPAA Privacy and Security; managed care contracting; licensure matters and ERISA.

She has assisted a variety of health care entities, including hospitals, home health agencies, pharmacies, preferred provider organizations, physician practices, physician-hospital organizations, Medicare managed care plans and employee benefits plans, in negotiating the complex rules of health care regulation.

Jennifer is a frequent speaker and author on a wide range of issues affecting the delivery of health care, including compliance, HIPAA, and legal trends in the health care industry.  She is a member of Pullman & Comley's Diversity Committee.

Representative Experience

• Assisted a hospital system in conducting an inventory of all financial relationships with physicians, for purposes of Stark compliance
• Developed implementation plans for complying with the HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules for several large health care providers
• Represented a physical therapy provider undergoing a substantial Medicare audit, successfully reversing the entire overpayment assessment
