Collin P. Baron has experience in a wide variety of banking matters. He began his career with the firm in its Employee Benefits Section and later turned his practice to banking law.
In addition to his general banking practice, which has involved virtually all phases of a bank’s business from regulatory compliance to the establishment of a mutual holding company, Collin has been very active in the area of mergers and acquisitions. His involvement has encompassed all phases of these transactions including negotiating terms, due diligence review, contract and document preparation, analysis of tax and financial implications and analysis of state and federal regulatory requirements. Recently, he also has dealt with corporate governance issues, securitizations and credit card portfolio sales.
