CVS Store Development Replaces Vacant Lot

In the first privately funded real estate project in Hartford, Connecticut in twenty years, attorneys from our energy, environmental, real estate and commercial finance groups assisted developers in closing both the construction loan and the permanent credit term loan for a new CVS store in the city's South End.  The project included zoning issues and demolition of the existing structure in addition to the construction of a new 13,000 square foot store.  The mayor, other local officials and project stakeholders celebrated the destruction of a long-abandoned building in May, 2012, as well as the store's opening in February, 2013.
